GC Air Conditioning is a division of Gas Chillers (UK) Limited; the Company was formed in 1992 and has been under the same management team since incorporation. We are a privately owned specialist contractor involved in the design, installation and after sales service of air conditioning systems.
We air condition all types of buildings, frequently directly on the instructions of the client, but often working through his professional advisers. Often the air conditioning is needed to control the environment for the comfort, efficiency and convenience of the people within the building; sometimes, however, the protection of sensitive equipment, for example computers/servers/laboratory instruments, is the prime concern.
Whatever your need, we can fulfill it with a system designed specifically for your application using air conditioning units that are reliable, quiet and outstandingly efficient.
DESIGN
During the design process we listen carefully to the needs and priorities of you the client. Consideration is given to items such as:
i) Level of temperature control required
ii) Extent of localised control within the building
iii) Whether capital cost or running cost is the more critical
iv) Access restrictions to sensitive areas
INSTALLATION
Our contracts department is constantly aware of the critical nature of keeping strictly
to time on agreed programme of works. Our engineers are fully experienced and their
knowledge is constantly updated by a variety of ongoing training programmes. All
relevant members of staff hold the latest refrigerant handling qualifications. We are
able to take full responsibility for the site management of the project or we can work
alongside the main contractor. Fully detailed risk assessments and method statements
are uniquely prepared to suit individual requirements.
In short – we do everything possible to ensure that the installation proceeds smoothly
and efficiently, with a minimum of fuss and disruption to the building occupier.
AFTER SALES SERVICE
It is vital to maintain air conditioning plant to minimise breakdowns, extend the life of the equipment and to limit running costs. These actions will reduce your carbon footprint.
We have a fully qualified team of service engineers whose job it is to look after our clients needs.
Preventative Maintenance Agreements will contribute to your peace of mind and to your company's bottom line, since by ensuring the equipment operates at high efficiency the running costs are minimised, and at the same time the life of the equipment is extended – thereby protecting your capital investment.
The same benefits apply to existing systems. For besides maintaining installations that we ourselves have completed, we are happy to quote for preventative maintenance programmes on existing air conditioning systems installed by others.
